Baseball Recap: Bad Axe Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Bad Axe and Laker, and Laker kept the tradition alive. The Hatchets lost 15-0 to the Lakers on Thursday. The Hatchets haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bad Axe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Wolschlager, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Wolschlager has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Laker, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

While Bad Axe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
