Baseball Recap: Cochranton Comes Up Short

Cochranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Saegertown Panthers, falling 10-0. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Cochranton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Saegertown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cochranton will take on Rocky Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saegertown, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Saegertown Panthers face off against Maplewood Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Maplewood will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
