Basketball Game Preview: West Branch Bears vs. Tipton Tigers

West Branch has gone 8-2 against Tipton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The West Branch Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Tipton Tigers at 7:30 p.m. West Branch will be strutting in after a win while Tipton will be coming in after a loss.

West Branch proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 34) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Wilton 67-64. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tipton took on Lisbon on Saturday. Tipton lost to Lisbon on the road by a 75-58 margin.

West Branch's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Tipton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

West Branch couldn't quite finish off Tipton in their previous matchup back in January and fell 51-49. Can West Branch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
