League recap: Strong week lands Totino-Grace inside Minnesota top 25

With a big week, Totino-grace jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Totino-Grace moved up from No. 26 in the state all the way to No. 19 thanks to a 3-2 record over the past week. Led by manager Mike Smith, the Eagles are ranked No. 1,220 in the nation with an overall record of 6-4.

The Eagles had a successful week, as they won three total games to lead North Suburban. Totino-Grace beat Robbinsdale Cooper 6-1 and Benilde-st. Margaret's 8-2.

North Branch boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Blake Jorgenson, who turned in seven Ks for the Vikings. He's first in the league with 19 total strikeouts.
