Softball Recap: Azle Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Azle was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Brewer Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in March.

Azle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Daniels, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Azle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-2. As for Brewer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Azle will be playing at home against Aledo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brewer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
