Soccer Game Preview: Rancho Cucamonga vs. Damien

The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Damien Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rancho Cucamonga's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Rancho Cucamonga and Chino Hills finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Damien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Los Osos.

Rancho Cucamonga's draw gives them a new season record of 9-6-4. As for Damien, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-2.

Everything went Rancho Cucamonga's way against Damien in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Rancho Cucamonga made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rancho Cucamonga since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
