Basketball Recap: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Takes a Loss

DSST: Green Valley Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Denver West Cowboys. The Raptors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 51-40.

Despite the loss, DSST: Green Valley Ranch still got an impressive performance from Tong Bot, who posted 12 points along with seven boards and three steals. Skyyaire Russell was another key player, putting up six points.

Jeremiah Parker was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds for Denver West. Parker is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tegan Robinson, who put up ten points.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Denver West, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

As of now, neither DSST: Green Valley Ranch nor Denver West have any future games scheduled.
