Volleyball Recap: Lutheran East Takes a Loss

Lutheran East lost against Garfield Heights back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Garfield Heights scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Lutheran East's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Garfield Heights, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Lutheran East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 30th. As for Garfield Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Firestone on the 27th.
