Football Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Golden Valley faced off against Tokay on Friday. The Cougars lost to the Tigers at home by a 41-23 margin. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amire Fleming was nothing short of spectacular for Tokay: he rushed for 223 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. Fleming showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

Golden Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tokay, the victory (which was their seventh in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Golden Valley will venture away from home to take on Elk Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tokay, they will welcome Pleasant Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
