Softball Recap: Dutch Fork Takes a Loss

Dutch Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Berkeley Stags.

Dutch Fork saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie-Grace Hill, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Dutch Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Berkeley, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will welcome Chapin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkeley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Goose Creek at 7:00 p.m.
