Volleyball Game Preview: Taravella Trojans vs. Fort Lauderdale Flying L's

After both having extra time off, the Taravella Trojans and the Fort Lauderdale Flying L will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fort Lauderdale will be up against a hot Taravella squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Hallandale on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-10, 25-15.

Fort Lauderdale not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Monarch with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Flying L's haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fort Lauderdale walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

Taravella's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Fort Lauderdale, their victory bumped their record up to 3-16.

Taravella might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Fort Lauderdale when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
