             After only seven  points in their last  matchup, Wakulla made sure to put some  points up on the board against South Walton  on Friday. The Wakulla War Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the South Walton Seahawks 37-7. Given the War Eagles' advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings  (they are ranked 146th, while the Seahawks are ranked 302nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Wakulla was led to victory by  Owen Klees and  Sion Ransom.  Klees threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns, while  Ransom rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Those 157  rushing yards gave  Ransom a new career-high.  Jaylen Jones made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Wakulla is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. As for South Walton, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 Wakulla wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  34-18  win against Baker County on the 25th. South Walton has also  already played their next matchup,  a  45-7  defeat against Pensacola Catholic on the 25th.
