Tri and North Decatur are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tri came up short against Cambridge City Lincoln on Wednesday, falling 12-5.

Karter Lunsford was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Kain Knepley was another key player, earning three RBI and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, North Decatur fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Rushville on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Nolan Burkhart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Tri's record now sits at 0-8. As for North Decatur, their record is now 5-5.

Tri couldn't quite finish off North Decatur in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
