Volleyball Recap: Smithfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Smithfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Bruton Panthers. The Packers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Smithfield was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bruton work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 26-24, 25-23.

Smithfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Bruton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Smithfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Warhill on the 9th. As for Bruton, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Lafayette on the 9th.
