Volleyball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Takes a Loss

Mishawaka Marian lost against NorthWood back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-16, 25-21.

Elle Boser paced Mishawaka Marian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Boser got some help from Bri Lundy and her 20 assists.

Nola Nephew had a dynamite game For NorthWood., getting 23 digs and two assists. Nephew is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Mishawaka Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for NorthWood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Mishawaka Marian will venture away from home to face off against Plymouth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for NorthWood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Elkhart at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
