Basketball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale was the 54-46 winner over North Farmington when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ferndale Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 53-52 to the North Farmington Raiders.

Ferndale's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13. As for North Farmington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Coming up, Ferndale will host Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grosse Pointe South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Ferndale likes a good challenge. As for North Farmington, they have already played their next game, a 48-47 loss against Rockford on the 8th.
