Volleyball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was the 2-0 winner over Wren when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Lexington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 26-24.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Wren, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Irmo on the 16th. As for Wren, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Chapman on the 9th.
