Basketball Recap: Oakes Comes Up Short on the Road Against Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock

Oakes had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions on Saturday. If the Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 64-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win got Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakes will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Leola/Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, they will be home for the holidays to greet Garrison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
