Baseball Recap: Delaware Valley Takes a Loss

Delaware Valley had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-15 to make it 11. They fell just short of the Abington Heights Comets by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 20th.

Delaware Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Londyn Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Hernandez has hit this season.

As for Abington Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly two runs.

On Abington Heights' side, Nick Bradley made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Bradley has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
