Softball Recap: Edsel Ford Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Edsel Ford's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln Park Railsplitters on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Thunderbirds were not able to get on the board.

Edsel Ford dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lincoln Park, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Edsel Ford and Lincoln Park will both be playing Allen Park the next time they take the field. The Thunderbirds will host the Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Railsplitters will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
