Basketball Recap: Marsing Drops Season-High Score on Nampa Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marsing). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Nampa Christian Trojans 56-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Huskies have posted since January 9, 2024.

Raylynn Vanosdall was nothing short of spectacular: she posted 20 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Josie Showalter was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Marsing was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Marsing and bumps their season record up to 9-11. As for Nampa Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Marsing nor Nampa Christian have any future games scheduled.
