Softball Recap: Butler Bears vs. Lincoln Cardinals
Butler took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lincoln, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bears skirted past the Cardinals 6-5. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered a 12-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kylee Dubray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Taylor Hudson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
