Kohala took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 29-9 margin over the Ka'u Trojans. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.
Kalia Marquez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Marquez was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
