Baseball Recap: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Maclay Marauders

Chiles won against Menendez last Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Chiles Timberwolves put the hurt on the Maclay Marauders with a sharp 10-4 win. Chiles' victory was all the more impressive since Maclay was averaging only 3.27 runs allowed on the season.

Cale Cox tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Gabe Del Fuoco was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Correa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

On Maclay's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Wagnon, who scored a run while going 4-for-4. Wagnon has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
