South El Monte can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the El Monte Lions as the South El Monte Eagles made off with an 11-1 win. The victory was nothing new for South El Monte as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Andrew Medina made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Medina has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive pitching appearances.
