Baseball Game Preview: Clovis Wildcats vs. Roswell Coyotes

For the second straight game, Clovis will face off against Roswell. The Wildcats will host the Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clovis' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Roswell 2-0.

For Roswell's part, Jayce Griffin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 7.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits.

Roswell is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15. As for Clovis, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.
