Soccer Game Preview: Arvada West vs. Brighton

Arvada West's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Doherty. Considering Arvada West have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Brighton's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Loveland. Brighton have beaten Loveland the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Loveland has come to flipping the script.

Arvada West pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Brighton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything went Arvada West's way against Brighton when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Arvada West made off with a 10-1 win. In that game, the Wildcats amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
