While Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's victory against McCallum wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors won by a run and slipped past the McCallum Knights 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Raptors in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Rose Harrelson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Claire Peters was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Mary Snyder, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for McCallum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
