Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Knights vs. North Hall Trojans

Johnson is 0-10 against North Hall since December of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Johnson Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Hall Trojans at 7:30 p.m.

Johnson is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Saturday. They lost 67-43 to Flowery Branch.

Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, North Hall made off with a 63-62 win over White County. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Warriors are ranked 424th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Hall has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Johnson was dealt a bruising 93-48 defeat at the hands of North Hall in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Johnson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
