Basketball Recap: Mason County Eastern Takes a Loss

Mason County Eastern lost against Baldwin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mason County Eastern Cardinals were dealt a 66-35 loss at the hands of the Baldwin Panthers. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mason County Eastern's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Milo Shoup, who posted 15 points, and Josh Rogers, who put up 11 points.

Mason County Eastern's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-5. As for Baldwin, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Mason County Eastern will challenge White Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Baldwin, they will square off against Mesick at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
