It was a good run, but Vale unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Grande Tigers. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vale fell to 4-1. As for La Grande, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
