Softball Recap: Lemon Bay Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hardee

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lemon Bay walked away with it. They never let the Hardee Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Manta Rays, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kylie Jones was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Mattie Couture was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Lemon Bay and bumps their season record up to 11-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Hardee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Lemon Bay nor Hardee have any future games scheduled.
