Baseball Recap: Enterprise Gets the Win

Enterprise proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Parowan Rams 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Rams on Tuesday, they had to take a 7-6 loss.

Aiden Emmett made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Emmett was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Enterprise: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-15 otherwise.

In other batting news, Wyatt Hunt was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Enterprise pushed their record up to 9-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Parowan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parowan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Emery at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
