After a string of three wins, Statesboro's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Bradwell Institute Tigers 66-34. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.

Bradwell Institute's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Destini McLemore, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ja?Nya Bush, who posted six points and five steals.

Statesboro's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-9. As for Bradwell Institute, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Statesboro will venture away from home to take on Glynn Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradwell Institute, they will head out on the road to challenge South Effingham at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
