Softball Game Preview: Newark Reds vs. Waterloo Tigers

Newark is 2-8 against Waterloo since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Reds will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m.

Newark came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Wayland-Cohocton, falling 16-1.

Meanwhile, Waterloo was able to grind out a solid victory over Romulus on Friday, taking the game 12-7.

Waterloo's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Newark, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
