It's playoff time, and Clark had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Sotomayor WILDCATS by a score of 5-0 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the WILDCATS on Friday, they had to take a 4-0 loss.

The team relied heavily on Derek Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Clark hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 7-3 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Clark's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Sotomayor, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9-1.

Coming up, Clark will challenge Dripping Springs on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Sotomayor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
