Olentangy Berlin enjoyed a cozy 23-7 victory over Perrysburg on Friday. Given Olentangy Berlin's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Perrysburg is ranked 75th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Olentangy Berlin can attribute much of their success to Aiden Eviston, who threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Spencer Conrad did his part by putting the 'special' in special teams, booting in three field goals and two extra points.
Olentangy Berlin's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 16.7 points. As for Perrysburg, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Olentangy Berlin's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Dublin Coffman at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Dublin Coffman is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Perrysburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
