Basketball Recap: Trigg County Comes Up Short

Trigg County was the 78-70 winner over Livingston Central when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trigg County Wildcats fell just short of the Livingston Central Cardinals by a score of 77-74 on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (73), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Trigg County and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Livingston Central, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Trigg County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Caldwell County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Livingston Central has already played their next game (against Ballard Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
