Basketball Game Preview: Georgia Christian Generals vs. Citizens Christian Academy Patriots

Georgia Christian is 0-10 against Citizens Christian Academy since January of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Georgia Christian Generals will take on the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. Georgia Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Georgia Christian got the win against Grace Christian Academy by a conclusive 50-28. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Citizens Christian Academy). They took down Crisp Academy 69-55 on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their 24-point performance the match before.

Georgia Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points per game. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Georgia Christian took a serious blow against Citizens Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February, falling 61-34. Can Georgia Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
