Freeburg won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Midgets walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Midgets.

Freeburg's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Columbia, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Freeburg will venture away from home to challenge Civic Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Columbia, they will face off against O'Fallon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
