Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Park Tigers vs. Paetow Panthers

The Cypress Park Tigers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Paetow Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Park has given up an average of 55 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cypress Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 71-65 W over Southlake Carroll on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Paetow lost to North Shore on the road by a 54-40 margin on Saturday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Paetow's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cypress Park, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Cypress Park couldn't quite get it done against Paetow in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as they fell 57-46. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
