Santa Fe South is a perfect 3-0 against Yukon since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Santa Fe South will head out on the road to challenge Yukon at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Santa Fe South is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Northwest Classen, who was ranked 25th at the time (Santa Fe South was ranked first). Santa Fe South fell just short of Northwest Classen by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was Santa Fe South's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Yukon hadn't done well against Putnam City recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way two weeks ago. Yukon had just enough and edged out Putnam City 1-0. Winning may never get old, but Yukon sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Santa Fe South fell to 6-1. As for Yukon, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Everything went Santa Fe South's way against Yukon in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as Santa Fe South made off with a 6-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Fe South since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
