Volleyball Recap: Episcopal of Acadiana Takes a Loss

Episcopal of Acadiana lost against Teurlings Catholic back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons came up short against the Rebels, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-17.

Teurlings Catholic can attribute much of their success to Kate Trahan, who had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave Trahan a new career-high. Mya Leonard also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Episcopal of Acadiana now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Teurlings Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Episcopal of Acadiana will venture away from home to take on Ascension Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will square off against Rayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
