Basketball Recap: Wabasha-Kellogg Comes Up Short

Wabasha-Kellogg lost against Rushford-Peterson back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons were beaten by the Rushford-Peterson Trojans 64-18. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wabasha-Kellogg's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Annalise Wobbe, who posted five points and 12 rebounds, and Kylee Metcalf, who had two points and three steals. Those five points gave Wobbe a new career-high.

Wabasha-Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rushford-Peterson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Wabasha-Kellogg will challenge La Crescent at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rushford-Peterson, they will take on Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
