Basketball Recap: Plum Takes a Loss

On Sunday, the Plum Mustangs took a blow against the Avonworth Antelopes, falling 79-48. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Antelopes are ranked 48th).

Plum has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Avonworth, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Plum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-36 loss against Kiski Area on the 4th. Avonworth has also already played their next game (against Beaver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
