Football Recap: Lewis-Palmer Starts off Right with Win over Rampart

Lewis-Palmer took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rampart Rams 30-0. This was payback for the Rangers, who suffered a 15-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Logan Aggers went supernova, rushing for 143 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Drew Thompson was in the mix too, providing Lewis-Palmer with two touchdowns.

Rampart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis-Palmer will challenge Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on September 6. As for Rampart, they will square off against Ponderosa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
