The Pelham Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Leeds Greenwave at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leeds took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pelham, who comes in off a win.
Pelham is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout on Tuesday, just like they did against Chilton County (and have done all season long). Pelham blew past Chilton County 8-0. The win was some much needed relief for Pelham as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite a strong season so far, Leeds has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of John Carroll Catholic on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Leeds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while John Carroll Catholic is ranked 24th).
Pelham now has a winning record of 10-9-1. As for Leeds, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
