Valders hadn't done well against Brillion recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Valders Vikings took down the Brillion Lions 60-44. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Lions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 64-50 loss.

Brillion's loss came despite strong showings from Amaya Brooks and Emma Schuh. Brooks went 6-for-15 on her way to 17 points along with six boards and five steals, while Schuh almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. Schuh is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's played. Camden Hale was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Valders' record now sits at 14-6. As for Brillion, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Valders has already played their next game (against Kewaunee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brillion, they are taking a road trip to take on Kiel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
