Soccer Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Legacy was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cooper Cougars by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Leopards came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Cougars are ranked 390th).

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Cooper, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coincidentally, Legacy and Cooper will both be playing Wylie the next time they take the pitch. Cooper will host Wylie at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Legacy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
