Volleyball Recap: Bishop England Beats Lower Richland for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop England had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets. Winning may never get old, but the Battling Bishops sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bishop England was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-9, 25-7.

Kate Cochran had an outrageously good game as she had eight aces and six digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grace Stroud, who had four aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop England was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

Bishop England's record now sits at 18-11. As for Lower Richland, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Bishop England didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Beaufort on the 27th. Lower Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
